"What's actually happening in Winter's Awakening right now"

That's the question isn't it.

What's happening in my book series right now? Well, my plans of getting book two completed by the anniversary of the first books release is a no go. I decided I didn't like the way things were shaping, and life caught up with me. I put it to the side for a bit to take a break and work on some other works, and from there it's kind of just sat... the writer's block is real.

It's not so much that I don't know what to write it's the filling in the holes, the meat besides the main story plot. Funny enough I wrote this series backwards starting from book three to book one. I know how I want everything to go; my brain is just trying to sequence it all up and fill in gaps.

My lovely solution? Writing it all by hand at the protest of my poor wrist. But I have been able to break through a wall and write scenes that would otherwise not come to mind. Writing in a place that no one bothers me and without any electronics has helped also, because I tend to scroll my phone.

So, in Winter's Awakening the journey is now on draft three! I'm building relationships, lore, and adventure all the while working on other projects. I'm sure Ravena hates me right now, as I left off with her healing in the Underworlds Palace ^-^.
